The family home built in the 18th century by a wine merchant on the most prestigious Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, which crosses the town reputed worldwide for its champagne, has been transformed into a guest house.
The 4,850 sq ft house has been minutiously renovated and decorated with Zuber wall paper (original printing plates listed as world heritage). The owners decided to keep some of the original furniture in the more modern rooms to preserve the sense of place, transforming the building into a warm and elegant guest house and making it an exceptional place to stay!
In addition to the 5 rooms on offer, there are also 3 lounges including a gourmet area, a garden and a wine shop to sample some of Leclerc Briant’s best champagnes.
"Our house, built in the centre of Epernay in the 18th century by a champagne wine merchant, has been completely renovated in a way that brings out the original history. We love bringing the house to life by offering guests a genuine family-home experience".
CEO Frédéric Zeimett explains the history of the domaine to visitors
The utmost attention went into the recent renovation of the 5 guest rooms and the antique furniture has been combined with modern décors. The results are warm and stylish rooms, each with a particular character due to different materials, fabrics and colours harmoniously blended for luxury getaways in the heart of the Champagne vinyards.
Breakfast is complementary and each room includes half a bottle of champagne, a coffee machine and a sound system.
