Step 1

Arrival in Paris

Embark on this itinerary with a stop at the Hôtel Mansart, in the French capital. Built in 1720, this hotel was originally a residence where lived Alexandre-Gabriel Lemonnier, the jeweler who created the crown of the Empress Eugénie.

Once you've settled your luggage in your room decorated with antique furniture and works of art, we invite you to explore the Place Vendôme, located just a stone's throw from the hotel, which brings together the big names in Haute Joaillerie. Stroll through the Grand Magasins; attend a theatrical performance at the Comédie Française or a ballet at the Opéra Garnier: during this first day, Paris is yours!

Discover the Château de Versailles

Jules Hardouin Mansart, who gave his name to the Hôtel Mansart, was also one of the architects of the Palace of Versailles.

After a peaceful first night, head to the former residence of the Kings of France. Admire the splendor of the royal apartments, including the famous "Hall of Mirrors"! The French-style gardens, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are worth spending a few hours in. To end your visit, don't miss the Grande Ecurie. Located opposite the palace, it is the largest royal project ever undertaken to house horses. The Coach Gallery and the Sculpture and Cast Gallery offer some wonderful moments of wonder.

Exploring Château de Chambord

Château de Chambord

Château de Chambord, a masterpiece of the French Renaissance, was commissioned by King Francis I and served as a former residence of French kings. It will be your first discovery in the Loire Valley, a region rich in majestic castles.

The castle's iconic double-helix staircase, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, and its panoramic terraces set it apart from other châteaux.

The Chambord estate boasts the largest park in Europe. Embark on a leisurely stroll through its kilometers of hidden paths, encounter wild animals, or admire the renowned French-style gardens designed under Louis XIV.

After an enriching day of exploration, unwind at the Château des Grotteaux, an Esprit de France residence. This 17th-century abode, built in 1602 by Guillaume Ribier, a passionate art collector and State Councilor, offers a tranquil escape. Relax in one of its five bedrooms or take a dip in the pool amidst its 33-hectare park.

Enchanting Château de Blois and Château de Cheverny

Embark on a scenic cycling adventure along the Loire River, courtesy of the Château des Grotteaux's owners. The way to Château de Blois unveils breathtaking landscapes. This former residence of French kings invites you on an architectural journey from the Renaissance to Classicism. Admire the richly decorated royal apartments, including the bedroom of Francis I and the study of Catherine de Medici.s

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Château de Blois also houses exhibitions that trace the history of France from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Before departing, don't miss the breathtaking view of the Loire River from the panoramic terrace.

After a gourmet break in the charming town of Blois, head towards Château de Cheverny!

Listed as a historical monument, this château has welcomed passing kings during their travels in the region, such as Henry IV and Louis XIII. Château de Cheverny, which inspired Hergé for the creation of Moulinsart Castle, offers a journey through time and an immersion into the world of the French aristocracy.

To conclude this final day with serenity, we invite you to rediscover the beautiful interiors of Château des Grotteaux, enhanced by the frescoes of the painter Jean Mosnier as well as the soothing sound of the Cosson (surrounding river) and the whispers of the centuries-old trees.
