On the edge of the Sologne and the Sancerre regions, the Château of Ivoy was built during the 16th and 17th centuries, from a plan by Androuët du Cerceau, famous architect of the Renaissance.
Nestling in the middle of woodland, it has sheltered many secret stories around French and Scottish old families, as the Condés and Mary Stuart.
The Scottish influence is very much obvious within the chateau's atmosphere and you will love to stay there for a short working session, a family relaxing stay or a shooting party with friends.
