South of Brittany, between Marais Poitevin and Puy du Fou, in the heart of Vendée, two magnificent porches signal the entrance of the Manoir de Ponsay ; a few yards away, stands the dovecote with its whirling ladder.
Built in the 15th century, the Manor was partially burnt during the wars of Vendée, and restored after the Revolution.
In the same family since 1644, it is listed as a historical monument.
Welcoming and of vast proportions, its rooms await you, in particular the one where the king Louis XI stayed. You will also surely appreciate the candlelit diners, served in such a refined setting.
