Petit Palais Museum, Avignon
The museum is located in the episcopal palace - Petit Palais -, the conception of which fits with the new aesthetics that rapidly became a model for domestic architecture in Avignon.
The Petit Palais, built during the time of the popes in Avignon -14th century - is now devoted to Italian painting and Avignon Art of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
It houses one of the most important collections of Italian primitives outside of Italy.
