Château of the month
LE CHÂTEAU DE CANISY
In the heart of the bocage of Normandy, in the department of la Manche - the country of the famous French authors Barbey d'Aurevilly and Alexis de Tocqueville -, the Château de Canisy rises in the midst of a huge park, surrounded by a farming and forest domain.
Alongside the medieval tower, the present-day castle, flanked by an ornamental pond, dates back to the 16th century.
