The Médoc, a land of vineyards

Le Château Loudenne

South-west of France, bathed in the light from the estuary, gently rocked by the rhythm of the tides, the Pauillac wine region in the Médoc is one of the most prestigious in the world. Spread over more than a thousand hectares, a unique soil with gravely crests gave birth to 18 crus classés as soon as 1855. Among them, not far from Château Loudenne, you will find Château Lynch-Bages. On one of the most beautiful gravelly outcrops in the appellation, the estate belonged in the 18th century to the Lynch family - famous merchants from Bordeaux, of Irish ascendance. Their name has been linked for more than 150 years to these wines of the finest quality. Near by, on gravely soil, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as main grape varieties, the Château Pichon-Longueville wines are full-bodied with bountiful tannins. Characterized by a great finesse and elegance., their length is exceptional on the palate and they boast an excellent cellaring potential. Visit their wine storehouses, and savour wine tasting.
