In the north of France, not far from Calais, the Château de Cocove is an example of pure 18th century architecture. On each side of the perfectly symmetrical main building, the stables and the ancient attic outbuildings present elegant arcades.
Owned by the Artois family from the Revolution to the end of the 19th century, and most appreciated setting by Ney, Marshall of France, the château was the scene of many a sumptuous party.
It revives today this tradition, welcoming for one or several days, family or professional festive events, with a cuisine renowned for its high quality.
Cocove is also the perfect stop before taking the ferry to England or crossing the Belgian border, on the way to the Bruges canals.
