South-west of France, in the Médoc, Château Loudenne was built during the 17th century in the typical and lovely architectural style of the Gironde. Giving priority to symmetry, its two aisles, with turrets, encircle the main building ; an harmony of pink elegant stones.
Southwards, next to the botanic garden, the land sowed with vineyards, leads to the Gironde estuary ; there, Loubenne private harbour welcomes barges that draw alongside.
A few steps away, the wine storehouses, built in the 19th century, testify of the wine activity of the estate ; for several centuries, on some 60 hectares, the land planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon…has proposed red, white and rosé wines.
Inside the Castle, furniture, tapestries and fabrics create a Victorian decor, with its definite charm and true comfort. An atmosphere that rhymes with the Chef's know-how.
“Luxury, beauty and pleasure”, such is Loudenne's motto.
