- How to get there : Château Franc Mayne is situated on the road D243 which links Libourne to Saint-Emilion.
From Saint-Emilion : When you are at the round about on the higher part of the village, drive toward Libourne. After 1 km drive, the château will be on your left. There are 3 flags next to the entrance : Belgian, European and French.
From Bordeaux : Direction Libourne/Périgueux. When you are on the N89, drive toward Libourne and then take the Exit 9 (Libourne-Est). When you cross the Dordogne river, take the second exit "Saint-Emilion" before the round about to get on the D243. Once you are on the road D243, drive 4 km, the Château is on your right, just after the 3 flags : French, European and Belgian.

Le château de Guilguiffin
At the end of Brittany, a few miles away from Quimper, on the site of Guilguiffin, a fortress had been erected during the 11th century. A few centuries later, with the agreement of king Louis XV, the landlord had it erased. After having the stones cut, he had them used to build up a new mansion, dedicated to hunting.
The present castle of Guilguiffin thus dates back to the 18th. At the entrance of this imposing estate, the drawing and setting of the stone pillars reflect the architect's oriental inspiration.
The castle and its 75 hectares park are listed and today completely restored. You will appreciate strolling along the alleys, lined with rhododendrons, daffodils and precious tree species.
A beautiful architecture, a haven of peace and charm.
